Account Deletion

You can delete your account and your data whenever you want. Deletion cannot be undone — there is no way to bring a deleted CV back.
Deleting from inside the app
- Sign in to CVgenZ.
- Tap your profile icon (your initials) in the top right and open Profile Settings from the menu.
- Find the Data & Privacy card at the bottom of the page.
- Press the Delete Permanently button and confirm the prompt.
- Your account and its data are deleted and you are signed out.
If you want a copy of your data first, the Export JSON button on the same card downloads everything in your account as a single JSON file.
If you cannot reach the app
If you have forgotten your password, try the Forgot password flow first. If you still cannot sign in, send your deletion request by email:

The email has to come from the address you signed up with — we have no other way to verify who you are. "Account deletion" in the subject line is enough. We answer requests within 30 days at the latest.
What gets deleted
Gone immediately and permanently the moment we delete — no waiting period, no way back:
- Your account: first name, last name, email address and language preference.
- All of your CVs, including any in the trash: personal details (name, job title, email, phone, location, summary, links, driving licence classes), timeline entries (experience, education, projects, certifications, volunteering), skills and per-CV settings.
- Your profile photo — it is stored inside the CV record and goes with it.
- The security records tied to your account — the action counters kept to prevent abuse.
- Your Spark balance and reward history.
